What a Material Handler will do:
Ensure each machine has the necessary parts to operate all dayAssist manufacturing by providing materials to and from all work centers Responsible for the inventory accuracy Responsible for material handling in adherence to the quality management system Responsible for accurate receiving and inventory of incoming productPrepare components for various manufacturing steps Move WIP material throughout the facility Cycle counting of product What you need to be a Material Handler:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word, and excel, UPS shipper, FedEx shipStrong math aptitudeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodationsBasic computer skills (emails, data entry, po numbers with UPS, Amazon, customers, etc.
